Superintendent

OMNI Construction Co, Inc. has an immediate opening for Construction Site Superintendent(s) to manage our Commercial Construction projects. Multi-Family, Hotel, Mixed-Use, and Retail experience in Ground Up Projects as well as Renovation experience is required. We are flexible on location as our Projects are Nation Wide in scope.

 

Job Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to. the ability to direct and supervise sub-contractors to complete projects exactly per the construction plans and specifications within the tight specified construction schedule and with the highest level of finish.

 

Skills Required

  • Must be able to maintain site records including detailed daily field reports and photographic documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a pro-active, professional approach working with Project Manager, to supervising sub-contractors and meeting or exceeding construction work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements to ensure the timely completion of project.
  • Strong proficiency in adhering to estimates/contracts by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving actions through an intimate knowledge of blueprints as well as confirming scopes of work or instructions for Framing/Drywall, ceilings, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, glazing etc. and related trades.
  • Must monitor and approve construction work by conducting daily inspections as well as prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes as well as maintaining a safe, orderly, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations, including OSHA.

 

Experience

  • Successful candidate will have at least 7 years’ extensive experience in commercial ground up and renovation construction as a Superintendent.
  • Must be a hands-on team player and be looking for long term growth potential with experience in multi-family, hospitality and mixed-use builds.
