Project Manager Assistant/Coordinator

OMNI Construction Co, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Construction Project Manager Assistant/Project Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years’ general construction experience.

The Project Coordinator requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with a broad knowledge of the construction industry. This position performs a variety of tasks for the Project Management Team and must be able to perform well under pressure while multitasking as a project management assistant. Opportunity is based in suburban Cleveland, OH.


The Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Projects during all phases from Award through Closeout.
  • Assists Project Managers with generating subcontractor contracts, purchase orders & change orders
  • Process and track RFI’s & Submittals to Architects and Owners
  • Collecting and tracking Subcontractor required documents (Certificates of Insurance, Worker’s Compensation, W-9’s, State/City licenses)
  • Keep the Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact the job schedule and/or client relations ensuring work completed on time and within budget
  • Work closely with Job Superintendent to make sure they have required drawings, documents, materials and equipment
  • Maintain good communications with Owners, Architects and Subcontractors
  • Make travel arrangements for Project Managers and Superintendents



  • 3-5 years of prior Construction experience including costing and scheduling
  • Experience with construction contracts and contract administration
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite of products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
